For the sixth time Frank Pont will present a one day seminar on the subject of golf course architecture in the Netherlands. The seminars will be held on two dates: the first will be at Gelpenberg GC in the North of the Netherlands on Tuesday January 17, the second will be at Swinkelsche GC near Eindhoven on Tuesday february 7.
A comprehensive one day program has been put together. During the day we look at what people find beautiful in a golf course, explore the history of golf and architecture, explain why routings are essential and discuss the various ways of designing golf holes and greens. After lunch we will continue looking at landforms, design styles, the role and forms of hazards and conclude with a close look at construction, both for new builds as well as renovation and restoration work.
Please contact us via email if you are interested in attending one of these two seminars
